BIPOC VTuber Resources Vol. 1

DISCLAIMER:

This Carrd's purpose is to serve as a compilation of resources for BIPOC to find and or learn to create assets to better represent themselves through their avatars.

The resources provided are comprised of links to assets for both 3D and 2D avatars as well as playlists of tutorials in both mediums.

To the creators whose content has been linked here this Carrd renders NO PROFIT WHATSOEVER from linking the assets you've created to its ongoing list.

To the users of this Carrd You CAN NOT directly download any of the assets linked here on this Carrd nor any of the tutorials provided. You MUST go to the original creator's linked page to access the assets and tutorials provided to either download the assets and or watch the videos of the tutorials listed here.

A majority of the content here that has been provided by countless creators is free for the public to utilize with their 3D or 2D avatars with the proper accreditation and abiding of a creator's terms of service. However, some assets listed may have a cost on the original creator's page that you MUST pay in order to download said content.

Please respect and follow each creators' terms of service regarding personal and or commercial use when it comes to their digital assets that are up for download on their linked pages.

Over time I would like to add more resources such as being able to make a list of trusted 2D and 3D modelers, artists, and riggers for the community to be able to commission if the nature of creating one's own avatar and or set of assets proves to be too difficult. I would like said modelers, artists, and riggers permission first however before listing any of them on the Carrd on the off-chance that an influx of sudden requests for commission happens to them.

With all that being said, this Carrd is a way to help try to pay it forward to those within my community especially as someone who is Black and Puerto Rican, finding ways to represent myself in the VTubing sphere did not come without its set of challenges. I want this Carrd to be a source of help to everybody no matter what their skill level is or area of familiarity is when it comes to getting started as a VTuber.

Also, any additional feedback is appreciated on how to make this Carrd more accessible and easier to navigate overtime. You can also suggest and or request for others and or your own content to be listed here on this Carrd as well if either of you are interested in it.

You can contact me via the "Contact" button on this Carrd. Please title your e-mails regarding this Carrd as "BIPOC VTuber Resources - " followed by the subject of whatever it is you wish to discuss.

I'll do my best to reply as promptly as I can within 2-3 business days.

Sincerely,

Rhys 🦊🎀💖

NOTE ON THE "FIND COMMUNITY" SECTION OF THIS CARRD:

I am painfully aware that this section of the Carrd is rather sparse of communities outside of my own. I would like to be able to find more communities to list here so this Carrd can truly become an inclusive resource to everyone who is BIPOC. I would like to be able to find communities that contain BIPOC from all walks of life within VTubing. Maybe some that are focused on LGBTQIA2P+ BIPOC inclusion and representation or some that are specific hobbies or professions that center around BIPOC who are artists, game developers, writers, poets, singers, musicians, chefs etc while simultaneously being VTubers. We all have varied interests and lead incredibly different lives and I want all of us to have the chance to connect, support, and encourage one another through our own individual journeys with our VTubing. So if you know of a group, brand, company, discord, and or other social networking site community that I haven't listed here, that is geared towards creating more representation and active inclusion of BIPOC in various areas of interests and talents, please feel free to e-mail BIPOC VTuber Resources by clicking the "Contact" button. Be sure to review the Contact Guidelines listed below prior to e-mailing..
